More Cellphone Big Brother BS

In yet another infringement of our privacy rights, cops are requesting that all of our text messages be saved so they can sift through them at will. Perhaps this brilliant idea will help reduce all the pre-crime being committed here in the U.S.

AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, and other wireless providers would be required to record and store information about Americans' private text messages for at least two years, according to a proposal that police have submitted to the U.S. Congress.
